Low mileage, rust free, excellent condition Jeep Cherokee XJ for sale. Mileage is accurate and will go up slightly as I enjoy driving it to work, but I just don't need two cars. Runs and drives perfect, cruises down the highway like a dream and everything works from AC and heat to the radio and all the buttons and switches and the 4x4. Interior is near perfect. Exterior has some of the best paint you'll see on a 97' but it isn't perfect, it is almost 30 years old after all. Motor runs perfect, regular 4-5000 mile oil changes, and the typical 4.0 cooling issues have been addressed with a new water pump, radiator, thermostat, and hoses. Fuel pump was done about a year ago, another common 4.0 failing point. It does have the fuel pump check-valve quirk which is typical, meaning I cycle the key once before starting to prime the system, but with a brand new pump I haven't wanted to drop the tank again to fix something so minor. Overall it's a reliable and excellent example of a clean XJ that would be perfect to build or just daily drive. Not in a hurry to sell, but would love to see it go to someone who loves Jeeps too.
