Extensive body work and paint w/remaining paint,
I purchased this 240Z in 2013 from within the family. It already had the V8 conversion when purchased. The engine has a pretty extensive build and I have some records on it. It was originally built as a street and strip car. Once I acquired it, I put over $20,000 into refreshing the car and making it road course drivable. There was lots of bodywork replaced from rust and rot and paint was matched to factory original, which I believe to be 110 red. This car is a hands down beast! The car has not been dyno tested, but Fuel system calculations are showing 372 horsepower, which should get better as the EFI system continues to learn. I’m also getting approx. 12 mpg city, no numbers on highway driving available yet.
It’s sometimes difficult knowing I’m trying to sell this car because it is tons of fun, but I’m selling because we need a more economical vehicle for our family.
I must disclose that this has been a project car, and it is not 100% complete. I’m continuing to work out any bugs in the EFI system. Depending on intended usage, the fuel tank baffles may need to be modified or an appropriate sump installed. The door panels are the originals, white in color and showing their 47 years of age. Sun visors need to be reupholstered. Interior forward kick panels are missing. Glovebox door hinge is tearing. Aside from those few things, the car is fully functional and driving. Vehicle mileage is unknown, the odometer was disconnected long before I purchased, and currently reads 225 miles since it’s overhaul.
The car has always been an eye catcher, and brings TONS of attention.
Was originally asking $22,000 OBO, now down to $18,000, which is slightly under good condition resale prices for this particular model. If your interested, call and make me an offer!
Car is being sold as is, and buyer is responsible for organizing transport.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for viewings.

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
