Used Car For Sale By Owner
Please read the WHOLE listing/specs before asking questions!
I’ve decided to sell my Fusion. Haven’t had any problems with it. I’ve really enjoyed having it and it has been a blast to drive—has a LOT of get-up-and-go power when you need it. This car just purrs up steep inclines while my wife’s 4Runner struggles up them. I only say that for comparison sake as the fusion is a turbocharged 4-cylinder and my wife’s car is a V6 (I’m aware that 4Runners are indeed not highway vehicles designed for high speeds, but still). Front wheel drive vehicle with all-season tires on it. Can’t say I’ve ever had any troubles with this vehicle in the snow—it does great!
I told my wife I must have a problem. I really enjoy installing aftermarket car audio equipment and upgrading small things here and there with my vehicles (been doing it for years now). I’ve done that with this one and am ready to work on another car now. Some examples of the goodies that come with this vehicle are as follows:
* Upgraded all interior speakers to aftermarket, minus the tweeters—they are still OEM
* Car has been wired for a subwoofer and amp. Sorry, I’m planning to keep the pictured system. If you’re interested though, I could sell it all with the car for an additional $900 above the sell price. The sub is a JL Audio 10W7 (retails alone for anywhere from ~$700-$800 new, depending where you buy it from). The amp, a JL Audio 500/1, I purchased for $250 if I’m remembering correctly. If not, then the price was higher than that. The ported enclosure was around $150.
* Upgraded the stock stereo to a Pioneer touchscreen media player w/CarPlay and Android Auto. This, in turn, required a complete overhaul of the car’s HVAC system controls, due to the original design of the car. It has now been upgraded to a touchscreen system as well now, while still maintaining all stock functions, including the heated front seats. Both of those features (HVAC control screen and Pioneer digital media player) have customizable button colors so you can make them about any color you’d like. Currently I have it set it to match the stock button colors in the car. This setup was an $800 upgrade and truly makes the car unique. I’ve yet to see another Fusion with this setup, personally. The center console looks completely different from the stock setup but I like very much how clean looking it turned out.
* Upgraded grille to minimize some of the chrome look on the front of the vehicle. I can provide the original along with the car, if you’d like that option.
* Upgraded fog light bulbs and replaced a broken bulb housing with a new one (driver’s side housing was broken when I purchased the vehicle)
* Upgraded headlight bulbs to white LED’s
* Upgraded parking light/approach bulbs (inside headlight housing) to white LED’s
The good (in addition to the upgrades, above):
* New battery (replaced within the last year)
* Had brakes serviced and alignment done right after purchasing the vehicle
* New tires (installed within the last year, with minimal driving—I have a work truck that I drive most of the time) from Discount Tire with fully transferable warranty on them
* Replaced the windshield right after purchasing vehicle (4/2018)
* Windshield wipers replaced within the last 6 months and haven’t seen much use at all
* Less than 100,000 miles. Right around average miles for its age.
* Always done oil changes with full synthetic since I’ve owned it (little over 1.5 years now)
* Professionally tinted windows with lifetime warranty
* 3-option memory seating for driver’s seat
* Retained heated front seat controls
* Retained steering wheel audio controls
* Bluetooth stereo connection
* Approach lighting (stock option)
* Touchpad entry from driver door panel
* Electronic paddle shifters for easy manual shifting
* Has the larger, 2.0L EcoBoost engine=more HP
* Leather interior
* 60/40 rear fold-down seating
* I have a copy of the CarFax report from when I purchased it. Everything checked out then, and if you were to pull one right now, it would do likewise. No accidents, no red flags. The most negative thing you might run into is a small outstanding recall or two but I think I got those taken care of already.
The bad:
* Minor scratches, blemishes on exterior from normal wear, expected on a vehicle of this year and mileage
* Minor curb rash from previous owner on a few of the rims.
* Having a hard time coming up with anything else. If my wife was being completely honest in her opinion, she’d say “It’s a FORD.” But she actually didn’t have anything else to add to what I have mentioned above here, either, shockingly.
I’ve taken quite a few pictures but if there’s anything you’d like to see that I haven’t take a picture of, or if you have a question about anything I haven’t addressed, please let me know!
Located in SW Colorado but we will be going up to the Cache Valley area for Thanksgiving. If it hasn’t sold here by then, and you would like to purchase, please let me know. Also, please note that if you live in Brigham City, Layton, Ogden or anywhere along the Wasatch Front (Utah Valley or Salt Lake Valley) and are interested in purchasing, I am more than ready and willing to meet up with you, if we are traveling that way (I will be passing through all that area in a few weeks on and undecided Tuesday, 11/26 or Wednesday, 11/27). Just ask! I will NOT waste my time just to have a look—serious buyers only, please. That is the whole reason there are plenty of pictures in the listing as well as a pretty decent description of everything. I take a good amount of time in writing my listings so as to be as honest as possible with you about everything. If you would like to take a look at the car, let me know ASAP so that we can plan our trip accordingly. Thanks!
NO TRADES, LOCAL BUYERS, and CASH ONLY please!

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

    KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

    This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
