1999 Mercury Village Estate Minivan
172,000 miles
Low mileage for age of car. Estate package including 6 CD changer; power driver’s seat; rear A/C (& heat) with rear controls; headlights auto on and off; cruise control. 2nd auxiliary output in 2nd row. 7 passenger cloth seats with 2nd and 3rd row seats that can fold down flat. 2nd row has removable captain seats. 3rd row bench seat can fold up and move up for more cargo space. Cargo shelf and net. Luggage rack.
This has been a good dependable car for many years, has had regular oil changes and maintenance. However, because of its age, it needs a little TLC. I’m the 2nd owner and bought it in 2002 while it was still under manufacturer warranty; the first owner being the state of California as a fleet car, so it was well maintained. Timing belt and water pump replaced about 6 years ago; New radiator about 2 years ago; AC has always run great, but it’s been sitting for the last year and may need recharging. Runs good, (motor and trans good) but may need some other repairs.
Book prices for this make and model are between $1500-$2500. I kept the price low as there are some things that need fixed: Cracked windshield; the radio and all gauges work great, but the dashboard and display lights are out; Cable for undercarriage spare tire storage is broken; back windshield wiper and blinkers do not work and need repaired.
Still has some good use in it! Asking $800 obo.
