1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4

Mileage: 76,124

Bountiful, UT | Posted September 12, 2020

$19,800

Her name is Ginger and she turns heads everywhere she goes.
76,124 Miles, IMS work done (documented). Guards Red with tan leather interior, heated seats, sun roof, manual transmission, Turbo Litronic Headlights, PSM.
The few tasteful mods/additional items are: Sprint Throttle Booster, Durametric, H&R Springs, 996.2 bumper, fenders and headlights (previous owner didn't like the look of the 996.1 headlights), 996.2 steering wheel, manual spoiler control override switch on dash (looks like OEM from 911 Turbo), AUX input for the radio, spin-on oil filter adapter, 3rd radiator added, under drive crank pulley, ash tray delete, original wheels with fresh snow tires, new WeatherTech floor mats in the front. There is also an uninstalled short throw shifter that I never got around to installing. Previous owner installed new front lower control arms and I had the front CV boots redone. I forget what the wheels on it are called but they are known to be the lightest weight factory wheels for the 996. I may have forgotten something, but that is a pretty complete list.
What is wrong with it? Of course, every car that has been around long enough will have issues. There is a small crack in the front bumper at the bottom. The right window doesn't drop quite far enough when you open and close the door. Tapping the window down button and back up is the temporary but easy solution. I planned to replace the regulator but never got to it. A small tear in the headliner that the previous owner told me about and I never actually noticed it. The remote entry on the key fobs needs to be programmed to work. I've always just manually unlocked it.
I absolutely love this car. It took me a long time to find one this nice. I actually searched nation-wide for a well-maintained and clean non-convertible with these features. Found her almost 2000 miles away. The only reason I'm selling her is because we sold our SUV and bought a lowered sports sedan for my lovely bride and now I don't have a vehicle to take into the mountains or haul stuff.
Scammers, go bother someone else. In-person transactions only. I'll do remote transaction only for existing PCA members.

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
