1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS

Mileage: 49,000

Green River, WY | Posted August 31, 2020

$30,000

I am selling this car for a friend-she has owned it for over ten years and it has been stored in a heated garage the whole time. it has been taken out for cruises couple times a year around town. the builder/owner of the car is from back east and looking through receipts i would say it was built about 12 years ago. what i can tell from receipts is the motor is newly built 383 with Lunati cam, Holley carb, headers all seen from pictures- i do not know what is inside as far as compression, and lower end build. I drove the car and it runs strong, guessing 350-400 hp. not real radical but sounds real racy with three inch exhaust. has a four speed manual Muncie transmission that shows receipts that it was rebuilt at time motor and car was built.. Trans feels tight and new. The body shows all RS components but i can not confirm if the car is an actual RS-the factory id plate on firewall is missing. the body is very straight and a very good paint job. no dings scratches or other damage noticed. one spot on right side rear fender/trunk valance seam has some rust bubbling starting to show. front suspension is gm disc front brakes has sub frame connectors and ladder bar rear suspension with coilovers. rear suspension is good quality components but whoever installed should never touch a welder again. If it were mine i would take two days and pull out the rear -re weld lower shock brackets where they should have been and grind down the welds and just clean it up and re weld. rear end is a GM 12 bolt posi trac with drum brakes. interior is pretty decent as shown in pictures, no tears or visible damage. If you have questions please call i will describe better, also have a lot more pictures.

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
