1993 Ford Bronco XLT

Mileage: 248,500

Washington, UT | Posted September 3, 2020

$17,500

Rust free California Bronco. I am the fifth owner. I will post the most recent Auto Check report from the person I bought it from in the San Francisco area.
There was absolutely no body damage other than a bent bumper in the back and a few door dings.
The bumper was replaces with a Ford NOS bumper.
The interior or exterior was never chopped up or worn out. There is a two inch tear on the drivers seat where the lever is to adjust the seat back support This appears to be a common area of wear as I have seen plenty with this same damage. New headliner in cap area. LED's installed for better lighting and less heat.
I did remove the very cheap original console and replaced it with a 2008 F-150 console with four cup holders. The newer console matched the interior perfectly in fit and color.
Mechanically: The rear main seal and front main seal have been replaced, the transmission pan seal replaced as was the input seal. It was a good time to replace the seal as long as the transmission was out of the truck., Oil pan one piece gasket installed. All new fluids in engine, transmission, power steering, radiator flush, differentials (2), brake fluid drained and flushed. New rotors in front with four new front shocks, two new shocks on rear. New cruise control switch located on the master brake module. New 31 inch BF Goodrich tires
The 351 Windsor (5.8L) runs well and very strong. It has all the original factory equipment to include the smog gear. It has the OBD1 diagnostic computer, so it will pretty much tell you what is faulty. The engine is clean as is the compartment and the underside of the hood. There you will also find three waterproof LED bulbs that light up the compartment as if it were daytime.
The engine has never been dismantled. This is a tribute to the strength and durability of the Windsor motors.
The 4 x 4 system works as it should. That low range 4x4 is amazingly powerful and smooth. After the restoration, I haven't had the nerve to get it dirty. I will leave that up to the newxt owner.
The exterior paint was fair but faded, being in California sun it's entire life.
We had a local painter prep and paint the two stage urethane.
It was cut and buffed and looks great.
Both side mirrors are new. All new rubber on doors, tailgate, rear window. The tailgate glass goes up and down as expected and new rubber in the glass channels as well.
I found an original NOS Lund lighted roof visor. I replaced the standard small two prong bulbs with all new LED socket bulbs on the visor. The are brighter and produce very little heat and they are water proof.
Theses Broncos had inherent issues with eliminating engine heat. Ford cut bumper vents that helped immensely with flowing more fresh air to the radiator and engine.
Headlights are new as are the bulbs. The original grill is in very good condition and still looks good.
All the original trim is intact and in excellent condition. Albeit, there are a few scuffs on the rear panels that occurred under the prior ownership care.
Door panels are original and in very good condition. Power windows and locks work. Steering wheel is very nice and the cruise works as it should. We have made a couple trips to reservoirs and local lakes this past summer in the Bronco and no issues, the air conditioning blows strong and cold.
The underside was steam cleaned and shows very nice.
We do drive this Bronco to church and a few other places in town. I am fussy and always park (miles) away from other cars, as wife says.
Good exercise....
I bought this because I am a Ford fanatic and this one is nice.
$17500 obo.

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
