1941 Buick Antique

Mileage: 23,456

Hurricane, UT | Posted September 5, 2020

$6,500

This is a 1941 Buick Sedanette. It's a beautiful 2 door, fastback coupe. This is one of the most beautiful GM designs of the 1940s. This car is ready to be restored or given the rat rod treatment. The car has good bones and the doors all open and close as they should, as does the hood and the trunk. The car is from Montana and it hasn't been registered since 1957. I picked it up in Wyoming and brought it home to be yard art. But as I looked at the car sitting on my trailer I realized that this car is too nice to let it go to waste as yard art. The body is very straight without visible rust. Yes you can see a few bullet holes, but the steel is thick and the holes would be very easy to repair. The dash board is intact, the seats are not. All of the window glass needs to be replaced. The 4 tires hold air and all the wheels turn and the car steer just fine. There are no brakes, and I haven't even looked at the engine yet. In spite of its shortcomings this car has some very serious potential. The frame is straight, the body is strong, and the cars lines are the definition of classic. The straight eight engine seems to be all there but I have made no attempt to turn it over. I own a restomod 48 Cadillac with a similar fastback style and it turns heads wherever it goes - This car is ready to be turned into a show stopper or a boulevard sleeper. The car is on a trailer at my home in Toquerville Utah. The title to the car was lost long ago up in Wyoming but i will help in whatever way I can in obtaining a replacement title. If you have the skills and the desire to make this car turn heads, give me a call and I can email you more pictures and If you like what you see we can hammer out a fair price. Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
