2005 Dodge Sprinter

Mileage: 205,000

Murray, UT | Posted September 14, 2020

$40,000

Stealthy sprinter, with dents, dings & character on the exterior but a nice build on the interior.
T1Ns are getting harder and harder to find.
It’s a legendary van that offers insane reliability, amazing MPGs (26mpgs, ya 26 that’s not a typo) the new sprinters don’t even get near this. The T1Ns also don’t have all the emission and bluedef “stuff” the newer vans require. This is really nice if you plan on going down to the Baja or Mexico because you don’t have to worry about finding low sulfur diesel, which can be hard to find down there.
It’s almost embarrassing listing all this out... but I have well over $15k in engine repairs within the last 3 months alone! I had dreams and aspirations to get this sprinter to 1 million miles! I was planning on keeping this sprinter forever, so I poured money into it! I literally spared no expense.
This is a great opportunity to pick up a solid T1N that is ready to go. All the common issues with these vans have been addressed plus upgrades!

Other Random Items
- Van Has Engine Core Heater, so you can plug your van in when you are in Alaska in the winter and it will start right up.
- This T1N is equipped with the upgraded seats that have adjustable arm rests and offer tons of adjustments, you don’t realize how great this is until you sit in the older base model seats... talk about back pain.
So that’s probably about it for mechanical on this sprinter.. I may have missed something but no expense was spared here.
Now for the conversion... I started on this conversion about 8 months ago, and it’s barely been used so I’d say this is pretty much a brand new conversion!
Solar Setup
- Renogy single 300w panel (this setup is way better than two panels in my opinion, it’s way sleeker and stealthy, you can’t really even see the panel from the ground)
- Renogy 200ah agm battery
- Renogy charge controller
- Renogy 2000w Inverter
- All lines are fused, and switched for easy safe servicing
Kitchen
- Built in Whynter 45qt Fridge breather port (this is nice allowing for extra countertop space)
- Ramblewood 2 Burner Gas Stove, setup on the small green camping propane bottles
- Deep Sink Dish Rack
- Sleek Cold Tap Faucet
- Grey water tank under sink 7 gallon
Bed
- Full Queen Memory Foam 5in
Cabinets
- All cabinets were custom made. This is really nice because all the drawers are super deep and there are 11 of them!
- All cabinets were made with a 11 ply European Baltic birch, this stuff is the real deal not the 5 ply Baltic birch from Home Depot
- Custom cut butcher block countertop Clear coated for water protection and scratch protection
Water
- 21 gallon water tank
- EccoFlo 12v Water Pump (3GPM)
- Water filtration before the sink, this allows you to fill your water tank with hose water and you get tasty filtered water at the other end.
- All plumbed with pex and sharkbite crimps (this is what they use in residential housing)
- On demand hot / cold shower with 5 gallon propane tank all plumbed to the same 21 gallon tank
- Custom made alder shower tray, so you aren’t standing in the mud while you are showering
Flooring
- tongue and groove style flooring from Home Depot, I’d probably throw some coin grip flooring over this if I was keeping this just to keep this flooring in good shape forever
Lights / Electrical
- 12 leds on a dimmer
- 2 cigarette plugs
- 2 - 2 box 110v plugs 4 total plugs 2 boxes
- MaxxAir Fan In/out function, plus rain proof cover so you can run your fan while it’s raining
Garage
- The garage was super important for my needs. I wanted to be able to easily store 4 bicycles inside my van away from the elements locked up safe and sound. To achieve this the bed is “higher” but this was a necessity for my bikes.
- That being said the “garage” in this van is very large. I built one large sliding tray on 500lb sliders. Currently setup for one road bike and one mtb. But could easily fit 4 bikes. Or two bikes surfboards climbing gear, camping gear. You have tons of space and it’s sealed away so if someone breaks your window to steal your stuff they will have an extremely hard time getting to your precious cargo.
Wood / Finishes
- European 1/2in Baltic Birch for the cabinets
- 1/8in alder sheeting on the walls
- Alder t&g planks on the ceiling
- Memory foam couch cushions
- Durable upholstery
To the left of the sink you have a small desk that I planned on using for “work”. With a 110v plug and a custom little seat this makes plugging in your devices and laptop a breeze. This seat doubles as a couch extension if someone long and tall wants to sleep on the couch. The couch has easily removable cushions with ample storage under the couch. This is great for camping chairs, mats, blankets etc.
Listing all this out was reminding me of the hundreds of hours put into this project. It’s been a fun one. And I really want it to go to someone that will put it to use. And get it to 1 million miles. You have 800,000 to go! If you maintain these T1Ns correctly it’s definitely possible. Ask Joel Sell @millionmilesprinter!
I’m in no rush to sell, that being said no low ballers. Willing to accept reasonable offers. Serious buyers only. No joy rides. Proof of funds required for test drive.
