1978 Chevrolet C-Series

Mileage: 10,000

South Ogden, UT | Posted September 16, 2020

$1,800

Listing my 1978 Chevy K10 pick up, newer small block 350 V8 and TH350 Transmission that was rebuilt last summer. I replaced the starter last summer as well, so it cranks over well and starts up within a few cranks. I sounds great when it is running, but it still has a ton of work to make it look as good as it sounds! Most of the truck is brown, the rest hasn’t really decided what color it wants to be.

What it has:
2 year old 350 V8 Engine
1 year on a rebuilt TH350 Automatic transmission
New hood (brand new ordered last summer and installed this spring. Needs to be rigged/adjusted)
New passenger door (window needs to be better aligned, I have the parts for this)
Good solid frame
It was configured for off-road, (wheel wells were removed, the front of the bed was reinforced, the fuel tank is in the bed, it is lifted about 6 inches)
New battery (last winter)

The truck runs and drives. The wiring is what you would expect from a 1978 so needs some work, but most of the lights work. It has an aftermarket Tach the got disconnected somehow when I was fixing the taillights, I haven’t bothered to trace the wires but it was working. The instraments all work except the fuel indicator. I ran some wires to the gauge but it looks like it may need to be replaced. Interior needs work….

Parts I have that needs to be installed:
Replacement passenger door (same donor vehicle as the driver’s door, just a different color right now.)
Wheel well covers, pulled from another truck bed. Not perfect but I was thinking of coating the bed when I was done anyway.
Some parts to hang the fuel tank if you want it. (I was debating on leaving it in the bed)
The cover for between the cab and the bed, adjusted to the leave the bars that were welded there and still look like a regular truck if you want.
Brand new (still in the box) front fenders for both the left and right outer fenders.

I am looking to offload a project….Listing this to gauge interest. If I don’t get much attention I will likely part out and keep what I want! Asking 1800 OBO

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
