Incredible condition 2001 Camaro SS with every SLP option it could have for the year. The low mileage is a result of me being the third owner, and the first two driving it only on weekends and Vegas trips. I'm about to enroll in college, and don't need to sell but it might make things easier to sell it.
Exterior/paint: I work as a professional detailer, and the previous owner had the car detailed consistently as well. The paint has two small rock chips on the hood as small as a pencil lead, a small set of swirls on the spoiler that are only visible with direct light, and a small spiderweb clearcoat crack on the front bumper which is also very hard to see. I'd call it 9-9.5/10 paint, as I wax it monthly and use safe wash methods. The sail panel has light bubbles from the fiberglass resin. Replacing it is less than 300$, and definitely isn't necessary or even all that noticeable. All rubber seals are in perfect condition. Has black frame headlights and side markers installed, I have the original headlights and side markers that will come with the car. Short antenna installed, I have the original antenna as well.
Interior: Spotlessly clean except 2 small issues: the front left door speaker is weak, the central console cover is losing it's glue on the front half and sits about a quarter of an inch higher than flush. I'd once again call it an 8.5-9/10 interior, especially for the year.
Engine and powertrain: Chassis and engine have 71,500 miles, all original equipment from SLP. This includes SLP intake and LS6 manifold, SLP Loudmouth catback exhaust, dual SLP exhaust tips. Transmission is a Borg-Warner 6 speed, with a Hurst Shift Kit, and a Chevy 3.54 limited slip differential and gears. ASR is active, but has a button to turn off and works flawlessly every time. Engine starts on first try every turn and has oil changes with Royal Purple full synthetic every 2000 miles without fail. Temperature gauge sits at 190 degrees without fail. A/C is cold as hell, heat is hot but I've never winter driven it. Previous owner claimed a piggyback tune on the stock ECU for 372 wheel horsepower. Unconfirmed information, but as a guy who's driven a ton of cars, it's way more powerful than a stock Camaro SS of this year. I'd believe it. Engine and drivetrain are 10/10 with no question.
Suspension/Wheels: Stock 17x10.5 inch Camaro SS wheels front and rear, with less than 1000 miles since refinished and polished. Attached are 4 Toyo Extenza HP2 Z rated tires with 1500 miles on them. Behind that, all four corners of the car have upgraded suspension and upgraded brakes. The suspension is all Bilstein shocks, and lowering springs by a brand I'm not sure of. The springs lower it about an inch and a half, I've never bottomed out but I do have to try not to scrape on severe driveways. The shocks in the rear are soft, the shocks in the front are much harder, which makes it squat when you get on it. The brakes are Powerstop carbon ceramic brake pads, and fullsize drilled and slotted zinc coated rotors which I installed on Wednesday of this week. The brakes are still in their second half of the break-in period so are louder than they will be once they wear in. No curb rash on the wheels at all. Just aligned the car last month. Suspension is once again a 10/10.
Car is near mint. I have never met anyone who hasn't loved it, even if they don't like this year of Camaro, or aren't a Chevy guy. It goes off well at carshows as well, and I get a ton of random compliments from people. It's an eyecatching, incredible car that I've loved every second of. Call or text, please no emails. Thanks!
