1990 legacy this is the most sought after of the 1st gen Legacy. The 1st gen Legacy is the most reliable Subaru bar none well this is a Japanese assembled.1st gen later 1st gens aren't. Now I know someone won't read this so READ the engine was run low on oil it and it has a rod knock this engine will go 500000 miles if you'll keep oil in them. This one will need rebuilt obviously. It runs but will need trailered home.....ok.so here is the bad.....
*Ac works only fair needs a recharge
* Dent on passenger side doors note in pictures.
*Front turn signal out of vehicle. Tabs broke does come in vehicle if you.want to repair the tabs.
* Some rust
* And obviously the engine needs rebuilt
The GOOD
*AWD
*manual 5 speed transmission sips.gas and is so fun to drive.
*LED lights
*LED light bar tied to.gigh beams with relay harness.
*LED headlights
*Magnaflow muffler and stainless tip
* Good tires two new last year
* Pioneer cd player stereo with pioneer speakers. Stereo is bluetooth and setup for handsfree phone bluetooth.
* Interior is so nice you'd never know.the car is a 1990.its.in such good.shape.
*Brakes are within a couple of years.
*Tow hitch
*All synthetics throughout Motul gear oil and Motul manual transmission fluid.
This car has had maintenance done to.go.300000 plus miles it was just drove by a young girl at college who didn't know old subies need to have oil checked.... It broke.her heart but I have too many projects right now and want the space back. Yeah I know it needs work. Only 164805 miles ............I have another first gen Legacy currently over 300000 miles I gave to my sister in law still.original.engine transmission heck still has original starter ac compressor.and alternator that car is still going strong. These cars are common to make a half.million miles with little work if any. Once it was known it had a knock.it was no longer run. Put the engine work.in and you have hundreds of thousands of miles left....
