Custom 1999 Chevy Astro AWD Adventure / Camper Van
This custom built AWD Astro “Roamer” has been thoughtfully designed, meticulously maintained, and is a one-of-a-kind weekender style build, ready for any adventure. Comfortably sits 5 people with seatbelts and a space for a queen mattress in back when folded down.
Includes:
-AWD
-Modular Bed Platform - with foam padding for comfort. Can also be lifted up and converted into a cook space in the back
-Goal Zero Solar Panels and Yeti Power Cell (Yeti 400 2x Boulder 15)
-8 inch lift kit
-Newish Big-O Tires (235/75/15) with matching spare (less than 5K miles on them)
-Added leaf spring in rear
-Rancho XT Shocks in the front-New factory Shocks in back (2019-New factory Shocks in back (2019)

There is approximately 192K on the chassis. 100K on the motor. New rebuilt transmission (2019), new rebuilt air conditioning system and AC Line from front to back of van (2019) new rebuilt radiator (2019), new battery (2021)
Oil changes done every 3000 miles. We have all maintenance and repair records done in the past 5 years. These additional repairs performed before we owned it include:
-Motor Swap
-Transfer case replacement
-Steering components (Moog)
-Rear-end rebuild
-ABS Sensor replacement
-Oil cooler lines
-Rear door lift-sling replacement
She has a few scratches and dings on the body, but any proper overland vehicle where fun and adventures have been had, will have. Compass module in the ceiling of console needs to be calibrated/swapped.
