This car has been in dry storage since 1991. It has the original 335 horse 383 cubic inch V-8, 727 automatic, 3.23 axle ratio, factory air conditioning, power front disc brakes, power windows and AM/FM radio. The interior is original except the carpet was replaced in the 80’s. The interior looks a little rough but there’s no damage. It was repainted in the early 80’s and is not show quality. It was stripped to bare metal but the shop that painted it did a disappointing job. It has never been wrecked nor had any panels replaced. Soon after the new paint job, the left rear fender was vandalized with heavy scratches. That panel was repainted and doesn’t match. The power vinyl/cloth top is original and in good shape. The Rallye wheels were first offered in 1970 so they’re not original to this car. It has an aftermarket cruise control unit. The brake system includes stainless steel sleeves on the calipers and silicone fluid.
The engine has zero hours on a total rebuild by an extremely meticulous shop. Complete details are available if you’re interested. The machinist was obsessive about doing it original and better than new. The transmission was professionally rebuilt although it was driving fine. This work was done in 1998 and as you can see in the pictures, the engine accessories have not all been refurbished and installed. All the original parts are included.
It will take little mechanical work to get back on the street and cosmetic work if someone wants it to be a show car.
I’ll consider selling without the engine or without the engine and transmission if someone is interested to build it as a hemi clone or with a gen 3 hemi. The odo shows 28,000 but original mileage is unknown. I have a clean Utah title.
