I am a mechanic and I have recently installed a new engine in this vehicle. These engines are notorious for failing and with this new engine you won’t have to worry a bit. It’s a really fun and great running car! It is a manual and it shifts really smoothly. It picks up speed really fast and is really fun to drive. I have really enjoyed working with it.
With the right set of tires this would be a great car in the winters here if you don’t want to get a huge 4x4 with bad gas mileage. It gets 27 city and 36 highway. It’s front wheel drive and because of how well it shifts it would do well on slippery roads.
