I bought this to drive back and forth from Salt Lake to Layton in the winter back in 2018. I have had no complaints about it and it's been either mine or my husband's daily driver since October of 2018.
Last weekend the transmission finally failed at 350,000 miles and I figured before I donate it to kars for kids I would first try to sell if to anyone that needs jeep parts, or is willing to replace the transmission and use it for camping/hunting/off roading.
Awesome stuff:
Straight 6 engine which is the best engine ever built
Less than one year old parts include shocks, brakes, 5 all season tires, exterior lights
Passes emissions easily (seriously they always laugh at how well it does)
All time all wheel drive makes it super safe in snow and loose terrain
It has one of those click in cd stereos from the 90s that still works
Less awesome stuff:
Engine turns over and drives but she aint happy about it, so if you're local you could probably move it without towing it
I don't know if the previous dude hit a deer or a person or rolled it or what but there's a lot of ugly exterior damage
Not awesome stuff:
Transmission is making noise and running rough
Speedo and odometer no longer work and haven't since I bought it (I just use a speedo app on my phone!)
It's probably the ugliest jeep in the valley
