Used Car For Sale By Dealer
1968 Chevrolet Camaro
VIN: 124378N427521
- Complete High End Restoration
- Custom Interior
- LS2 Motor Swap, 4L65E Automatic Transmission
- Modern Suspension and Braking
This 1968 Camaro is an extraordinary example of a show quality restomod conversion on a classic muscle car. While retaining the basic external characteristics of a 1968 Camaro, this specific example has been custom built by blending the best components of an original 1968 Camaro with the modern technology of a Corvette.
A Corvette LS2 engine sits under the hood with an aluminum block and aluminum heads. A polished Street & Performance billet pulley system runs the chromed A/C compressor and other accessories on the engine. The engine bay also has been detailed with polished hose covers, fittings, overflow tanks, and Detroit Speed hood hinges and a Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fans.
The 4L65E automatic transmission shifts flawlessly and allows the Camaro to run down the road at freeway speeds with no issues. The shifter linkage has been adapted to use a factory Camaro console and is controlled using the classic “horseshoe” shifter. A new driveline, along with new 3.73 gears, and an Eaton positraction unit in the axle help transfer all the power to the road.
All 1968 suspension and braking equipment have been removed from the Camaro and updated with modern systems. The brakes were replaced with 4 CPP drilled and slotted rotors, calipers, and a new CPP booster and dual reservoir master cylinder were installed on the firewall. All new lines were ran throughout the car and proportioned properly. The stock steering box was exchanged for a CPP quick ratio steering box for a more modern feel and the stock leaf and coil suspension was replaced with Ridetech air suspension and a 4-link bar in the rear. The suspension allows you to adjust the stance of the car however you would like without compromising on comfort and performance. The air controller resides in the console and the tank and compressor are in the trunk.
The interior has been upgraded from the stock vinyl to custom leather. The door panels and seats have been redone in black leather with custom Stingray leather inserts. The door panel hardware has been changed over to aluminum and the gauges have been replaced with Auto Meter gauges. The headliner and visors have been redone in black suede and the armrests were covered in leather to match the seats. The factory steering column was replaced with a modern tilt column and custom steering wheel. The stereo has concealed speakers with a Tsunami power distribution center. The stereo has Bluetooth capability and the amplifiers are hidden in the upholstered trunk.
The silver paint looks great with contrasting shade of the z/28 style stripes. It sits on one-off Boze wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich tires. A custom exhaust was built for this Camaro that sounds perfect.
Nothing has been left untouched or unmodified on this 1968 and it will not disappoint.

Vin Info Has Changed

What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
