1993 Chevrolet Cargo Van

Mileage: 166,000

Salt Lake City, UT | Posted May 3, 2021

$4,500

This car has been a home for me for a year but I'm moving on to bigger and better. As in, I'm moving into a real house. Full transparency:
Pros: Fully refurbished. Wood floors. Kitchen space. Essentially ready for you to move in. Solar panel mounted. Car runs well. Brakes recently replaced as well as battery. Other than the battery giving out, I've never had any reliability issues with the car. It is a van so it's somewhat unwieldy, but it fits in one single parking lot and I've always been able to find a place for the night. The walls are insulated and I feel that I've had a great solution for both heating and cooling. Lighting and a cooking situation are figured out. I thought it had plenty of storage and I was keeping quite a ton of stuff in it.
Cons: I never actually set up electrical to the solar panel lol. I didn't find it necessary because I always had a place to charge my phone during the day (work or school). The AC doesn't work, so Death Valley might not be the easiest day trip. It will need new tires in the next year or so. And finally, I can stand up in it just barely at 5'3" so it can be a bit cramped for taller humans.
Honestly, sexy old van exterior and gorgeous livable interior. If you want a van that's ready for you to live in or just take on your weekend warrior adventures, this is a cheap option. You'll be the coolest homeless person at the beach/crag/lake/ski resort/mountain then this is definitely the right buy. If you want something that will take you across the country several times over, maybe hold out for your Sprinter.
I've sanitized and washed everything so this van is fomite-free. I'm happy to meet in any fashion in order to make you feel safe from the COVIDs.
I'm asking what I paid for it, but willing to negotiate. Times are tough and I want to make sure this van has a good fit with someone who needs it and will love it.

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
