1995 Subaru Impreza L

Mileage: 103,000

Spanish Fork, UT | Posted July 20, 2021

$10,000

Up for sale is my rust free 1995 Subaru Impreza L coupe. The two door variant of these cars are fairly hard to find and even harder to find without rust, especially in this state where the roads are salted. This car started off as an automatic but was swapped to manual around 10k miles ago. My initial plans for this car were to turn it into a beast of a build but unfortunately I’ve lost interest. My loss is your gain.
Pros:
- 2.2L motor which is significantly more reliable than the 2.5L
- Only 103k original miles
- Interior is in amazing shape for its age
- Arizona car so zero rust chassis
- Healthy trans and clutch
- Disk brakes all around (came with drums originally)
- 2.5 RS front end
- Ksport coil overs
- 17” BBS wheels and tires that are essentially new (worth ~2.5k)
- Carbon Fiber hood (just needs to be restored)
- Quick release steering wheel
Cons:
- A/C doesn’t work (previous owner said it needs a recharge and the directional knob fell off)
- Sun damaged paint
- Small oil/power steering leak when parked (just drips and needs to be topped off at every oil change)
- Finicky ignition (sometimes you have to jiggle the key)
This car by no means is perfect, as it’s got some dings here and there along with paint damage, but it’s in amazing shape considering it’s age. When I purchased the car I got a pre purchase inspection by a specialty Subaru shop and the inspector said it was one of the cleanest chassis he’d ever seen. In other words, a perfect candidate for a build. I also had him confirm the transmission swap was done correctly and he said it indeed had been (reverse light switch, timing belt guide, etc.) The car will also come with some extra exterior bits if asking price is met.
$10,000 OBO. Might also be interested in some trades (mostly boosted subies). Shoot me text with any questions.

    Vin Info Has Changed

    What’s this mean?

KSL Cars uses VIN info to automatically pull details about vehicles listed on the site. The seller edited some info when they created this listing – the changes they made are marked with this symbol.

This doesn’t always mean something is wrong – we just think you should know that changes were made. But it’s probably a good idea to ask the seller about them. As always, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, do not proceed with the purchase.
