2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LB7 Duramax converted to 3500HD with new springs, axle, brakes, shocks, tires, wheels. etc.  Conversion was done professionally.  The only difference between a 2500 chev and a 3500 Chev is the leaf springs.  Everything else is identicle.  So it was super easy for the shop to drop the old axle, and bolt up the dually axle.  When we did the axle swap I also had an airlift suspension air bag system installed with an on-board compressor.  I realized a few years ago I needed a heavier truck, so I started shopping and the pandemic hit and I wasn't willing to pay that kind of money for a heavier truck so I made my own.

Here is a list of itemes replaced/repaired over the last 3 years/ 60,000 miles.

Complete front end rebuild with U joints, A-Arms, Ball Joints, shocks, bump stops, hubs, brakes, rotors, diff seals, tires, tie rods, drag link, and steering intermidiate shaft, etc.

Full fuel system, with new CP3, performance plus bosch injectors, sump fuel suction kit, Fass Titanium lift pump and filter system,

New upgraded 64mm Turbo,  S&amp;B intake, 3 inch intercooler lines, high flow exhaust manifolds, high flow up-pipes, 3 inch stainless down pipe, 4 inch strait pipe exhaust.

New Upgraded transmission cooler, and new Trans cooler lines,

New Power steering pump and gear box

New Water Pump

New AC Compressor, Switches, and HVAC controller.

New Transfer Case, with upgraded flange and pump.

New Drive line U-Joints,

Every year I changed out every single fluid, from diffs, to transfercases, coolant, trans etc.  I have ran Shcaifers 15W40 with
service intervals of 3-4000 miles.  Very well maintained reliable truck ready to go.

Cow Town Sleeper cab with two extra seats and seat belts, to comforatably accomodate 8 passengers (cab is accessed through door in back, and the back window was removed with a weather tight seal installed).  Mounted into a G and R Skirted flatbed.  With the Headache rack moved back.  Gooseball still works great with the extra cab.  My wife, and I with our six kiddos fit fantastic.

Truck runs awesome, no blowby, Everything works, tires are in great shape,  Good ole truck ready to work for someone else.  I have worked very hard to keep it mechanically sound.  A lot of my job relys on my truck so I had to keep it up to snuff.

I installed a 2 Low kit so that when you put it in 4 low you can turn the front axle on and off.  Works awesome when hauling hay out of the field or when backing up a trailer and you don't want your front tires hopping around.
