Our beloved Herbie is for sale. This is a 1959 true Euro Beetle with working Semaphores. It is riding on a 1968 pan and registered as a 1968 Beetle. I bought this car from the builder about 5 years ago. I might have put less than 500 miles on it under my ownership, the previous owner/builder probably put on 1500 miles since the build. Sad I know. I have over 17k in receipts from the previous owner/builder. I have put another 1500 or so into it. It is one of the best sounding and running VW&amp;rsquo;s I&amp;rsquo;ve ever owned. Starts up every time and drives down the road solid as could be. There is no issues with this car, everything works!! Yes, it leaks a little oil. as much as I have tried at the end of the day its a VW. The restoration was done meticulously. Dynomat covers the entire interior including door panels and roof. Very tight car. You will not be disappointed. Every car show we took it to won some award and always gathered a lot of attention. It was even featured on Bitchin rides Discovery show and won an award from the Kindigs at their 20th anniversary car show. We are so sad to see it go but, this car deserves to be driven and shown more than we have. Below is just some of what has been done to it. I have most all of the receipts from the build and extra parts as comes with most VW&amp;rsquo;s. The paint is amazingly smooth and has a great shine, the only issues is where it has cracked in 2 spots. One on the decklid and the other where the previous owner smashed a tool when closing the trunk. I never had it repaired because it didn&amp;rsquo;t bother me as much as I thought it would. Title is in hand. Come take a look at it. It has always been stored under a custom cover in a climate-controlled garage.
