1988 Monte Carlo SS. I bought the car about 8 years ago and repaired a few dings (no rust) and repainted the car complete. The vehicle body is all original minus the hood. The project sat until last fall where I had a 5.3 liter gm motor installed with a 4L60 transmission. It has only been driven 114 miles since the swap. Finished the project so I could get it up for sale to make time and money to finish other projects.

- 5.3L iron block out of a 2003 Chevy half ton with 120k miles has not been rebuilt.
All necessary swap kit was bought from multiple sites so nothing had to be fabricated.
- 4L60 transmission was replaced with a new rebuilt from GM
- cluster is a Dakota digital gauge cluster
- Hooker header 3&amp;rdquo; dual exhaust with X pipe
- interior was shampooed but could use new floor mats
- wheels were new when I got the car but I did polish them recently 
- tires are new. Maybe 100 miles on them
- new drivers door hinges replaced and striker
- new door seals
- new tint 

Negatives
-Couple of paint cracks in the front bumper from someone bumping into it.
- right tail lamp is cracked (figured next owner might want a smoked set)
- center console in a little loose 
- needs vintage air installed (no heat or A/C)

I stopped where I did with the project so whoever bought it could make a couple of small tweaks and make it their own or could drive it the way it is.
