Last chance!!! If it doesn't sell this week I am storing it for the winter and I'll finish the restoration myself next year.
I have owned this for 10 years and have put a lot of time into fixing it up to the point it is at.
It is a complete car and it runs great!
It does need a paint job but I have done a ton of body work on it and it has a good coat of primer protected by plastidip (temporary peelable paint)
Many new parts are installed including but not limited to a new gas tank, all glass, brake and clutch cylinders, alternator(converted from the old generator) wiring harness, and several body panels.
Message me if you are you interested and I can send you more information.

Up for sale is a 1980 Triumph TR7 Spider edition convertible. Information from Michael Hart, a TR7 Spider researcher, shows that this is a genuine Spider from the Solihull factory in 1980. The car was meant to have a 5-speed transmission, which has since been changed to a 4-speed, black gloss paint instead of white (you can see under the hood and in the door jambs that it was black at one point.), and grey and black seats with the grey shag carpet, along with red decal striping for the exterior, which seems to have been removed prior to the new paint. The original seats are still inside the car, but they will need to be reupholstered, while the carpet was completely torn from the interior. The fuel system was also changed from the mechanical pump to an electrical pump, and uses a button on the interior to activate. I replaced the vinyl top and bought a new battery for it, and it starts right up and runs and drives. I also purchased new tires that haven't seen the road since I do not drive the car. It will need some work to be back to the original condition it is meant to be in, and is meant to be a project car. There are some missing pieces in the interior and exterior that can be found. I also have three or four boxes of extra or necessary parts for the car, but I do not know what is there. It will need work to be drive-able, and the car will need to be towed after purchase. I'm asking $2000 for it, as it is a rare car being the Spider edition (only about 1600 were made and sent to the US.). I might be willing to entertain trades but would prefer to sell it. I have also included a picture of what the car should look like after restoration, and this is not the current condition of the vehicle. Thanks!
