It runs perfect, does not use oil, has no blow by, interior is in great shape, gauges work, air conditioning blows cold, heat works great, starts fast even on cold mornings, tires are in good shape, brakes are excellent, suspension is in excellent shape, chrome is in good shape. Everything works. These are sought after models built by hand and it does not have any computers. I will answer any questions. THIS CAR IS WORTH $15,000 and is a collectors car.

1984 Mercedes 300cd COUPE. This is very a rare car in that very few of these coupes were imported. The original sticker price for this car was $35,000 in 1984!
This one is in very good shape and has been my daily driver for years now. As you can see from the pictures, it has been well taken care of. This red color is very sought after and it is the color that came on the car from the factory.

1982 Mercedes 300SD with the infamous diesel that runs forever. Asking $2000 CASH ONLY, no trades, no scammers, I will not ship, I do not need help selling, title in hand.
I bought the car a couple years ago to use as a project because I love the old MB diesels and have always wanted to use one for alternative fuel experiments. I bought a project house and now need to focus my time and efforts on the house and not the car. As stated, it is definitely a project, but it does run and was reliable for me. I only drove it for a little over a year until the registration came due and I decided that I didn’t want to renew and then the house.
Here’s a list of what I can remember doing to the car followed by what I believe it still needs:
THE GOOD:
- New inner and outer tie rod ends
- New center/drag link
- New lower ball joints
- New upper control arms w/ball joints
- New front wheel bearings
- New steering stabilizer
- Alignment done after all the front end work
- New front tires (probably 5k miles)
- Good rear tires (probably 80% left)
- New rear shocks, NOT installed
- Oil and filter have about 1500miles
- LED headlights
- New steering column turn signalheadlight switch lever
- Refurbished climate control unit
- New blower motor and cage for heat/AC system
THE BAD:
- Paint is not in the best condition
- Missing some exterior trim pieces
- Will need door and trunk seals replaced, old and crusty
- Windshield is cracked, minor and not in field of vision
- Needs a couple rubber exhaust hangers replaced
- Driver window rolls down about half way, back passenger window rolls down all the way, the other two windows do not roll down
- Sunroof tries to open, but I haven’t tried to open it all the way in fear that it will not close
- Several missing interior trim pieces
- Radio was removed when I bought the car, I have it, but never reinstalled it as I planned to put in a new head unit
- Drivers seat moves forward and back, but the back does not tilt forward/back
- Passenger seat does not move
I’m sure I’m missing something, but as I stated, it is a running project vehicle, so don’t expect it to be perfect. I will only respond to texts, no e-mail or phone calls. Thanks for looking and let me know if you are in the market for a fun project. If there aren’t any pictures they are coming soon.
