Currently owned this car for at least 50 years, but not the original owner. It has been parked for at least 25 years and was last registered in 1993. Car and parts in one package, no parts separately.
Includes the following items: Spare engine and transmission (some issues with both). Two convertible tops/frames that will need new material. NOS dash cover. Two spare seat frames. One (maybe two) tonneau covers that have problems, but would work for a template.
Rear fenders were professionally replaced with those from a VW rabbit to give some more room and mitigate rust. Owner is familiar with these in their day and did repairs on arches, sills, and other parts and also built several historical roadsters for others.
Price is flexible.
Inspection has found some issues on the driver side exterior sill and interior kick panel. Some corrosion and rust under the boot floor mat near the firewall. Small holes are forming under the battery tray.
Interior is in poor condition but the body has been covered with tarp for the duration of the stay outdoors. Driver and passenger side windows roll and are in tact. Glove box works and has some knobs and pulls. Rear view mirror is also in tact. Windshield does have cracks and should be replaced.
The car is less than 10ft from cement, and we can assist with moving it there. A full set of four 4x114.3 wheels and tires would expedite the job dramatically. A low trailer would be recommended for anyone interested in the vehicle. We are not willing to part it out at this time, but wouldn't be surprised if the new owner does just that.
Plenty of usable body panels and trim, and mechanicals. Wheels are likely usable, and it may not be past use for the chassis itself.
