This ’66 Thunderbird is the car that raised me. I spent countless hours in high school wrenching, learning, swearing, and eventually high-fiving as I brought her mechanical heart back to life. The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt — I’ve got the receipts to prove it — and she runs and drives great.

Now for the honesty: I started the bodywork, but life (and the Air Force) got in the way. The paint is sanded off, some body parts are removed, and while the floor pans have been replaced, the quarter panels and rockers still need attention. Good news: I already bought the replacement quarter panels and rockers, and they’re included with the car.

This isn’t a turn-key cruiser — it’s a solid, running project car for someone who wants to bring a classic back to glory. You won’t have to mess with the drivetrain or chase down mystery noises — the hard mechanical work is done. You just need the vision (and some elbow grease) to finish what I started.
