Its time to sell my girl. I got a side chick and decided to make her my main squeeze and let this old ball and chain go. Its a great truck. Leather interior, DVD player, great Infinity audio system, brand new transfer case motor, upgraded LED fog lights that switch from white to yellow at a push of a button, K & N FIPK, power slide rear window, newer Michelin 285/70-17 tires wrapped around aftermarket wheels with bullet point lugs. Lots of interior storage, tinted windows, tow package (obviously). This truck is an odd duck. From 06-08, Dodge offered a Mega Cab 1500. But, its all 2500 underneath. Larger axles, 8 lug hubs, HD transmission (which has been replaced), HD suspension etc, etc. I have added Air Ride rear bags with onboard compressor. Its also wired for a sub. I had a Rockford Fosgate P300-12 hidden behind the seat. Here is the bummer on this truck. Front seats need some help and there is rust developing on the passenger bed fender. I have taken really good care of this truck and changed the oil every 3-5k miles with full synthetic oil. I added a quick drain valve to the oil pan with a 90 degree nipple to add a 1/4 inch hose onto to make the oil change EASY! The back seat of these Mega Cab truck reclines also and so much room for your passengers. The 5.7 is 345 horse and has plenty of power to pull your larger trailer. Its no Cummins, but it definitely gets the job done. I average about 15-18 MPG depending on driving conditions.
