2016 Golf R 6 speed manual - Stage 2 with DCC. ECS Stage 1 AND stage 2 tunes - MULTIPLE TUNE VERSIONS WERE PURCHASED, both higher and lower octane tunes, some burbled and some not (these have to be purchased separately-and they were-so you can take your pick and then switch them back and forth, and you don’t have to run it tuned all of the time. Most of the time I don’t).
Cobb tuner and monitor is included.
APR full cold air intake (not just an insert). Breathes well, but also sounds throaty under some throttle.
ECS exhaust - quad carbon fiber tips. This is not just tips- it’s from the Cat back (and still passes emissions for you Utah people).
Short throw shifter.
Audi V-Spoke wheels in good shape
Some VagCom programming (remote windows both up and down, horn defeat, etc.).
154k on the clock and it’ll slowly be going up. It’s still my daily driver back and forth to work everyday. I work 70 mi away. Easy highway (70mph) miles but it will be going up because I’m still driving it.
The good - A bunch of work has been done in the last couple of years- the car has been kept up on. This was all preventative- nothing had blown up, and you’re welcome to have the receipts for records and warranty.
New (STAGE 2) clutch a few thousand miles ago (receipt).
New tires less than 1000 miles ago (receipt)
Alignment less than 1000 miles ago (receipt)
Haldex fluid flush on schedule (receipt).
Tranny, transfer case, and differential flush a while back (receipt for all three).
Tinted all the way around.
New projector LEDs.
Cargo mat and floor mats all around.
New battery a year ago.
Wireless CarPlay adapter was added so you don’t have to plug your phone in.
This R is in good shape. It doesn’t throw any codes or anything and it will pass emissions even with the aftermarket exhaust. It runs great overall.
Now for the bad- One small spot on the armrest has began cracking a bit but it’s not torn and isn’t a hole or anything. The vinyl is just cracked. See pics. I took photos and pointed to the worst of it so that there aren’t any surprises. The only other thing this car has going on with it is that the headlights are supposed to aim where you turn and the “adaptive headlights” haven’t ever worked under my ownership. I bought it that way and I never cared to fix it. They point straight like any other car and I didn’t need them to turn. They’re bright projectors. Outside of those little things, there are no surprises. You won’t be disappointed.
Message me if you have any questions. It’s a sweet car but I’m going to try the electric thing (wish me luck) and try to save a buck in my commute. Easy sale- there are no surprises with the car and I hold the title in hand.
