Selling our 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with just over 180,000 miles. It’s been a great van for us — mostly highway miles, used as a daily commuter. Selling because we don’t have the time or funds to make the needed repairs to get it up and running again.
Regular oil changes were done while we were using it. In the last six months, the brakes, both taillights and the heater hose assembly were replaced, which fixed a small coolant leak issue. The heating and A/C work perfectly, and the Stow & Go seats function beautifully.
Recently, the van developed a knocking sound from the engine (most likely a piston rod). It still starts, but we parked it right away — that was around late June, early July.
The rear hatch is a bit finicky — it usually only opens with the key fob button, and sometimes the lift pistons don’t hold it up, so the door can close under its own weight.
Other than that and the engine issue, the van is in great shape — clean inside and out, body and electronics all in good condition. Would make a solid project van or mechanic special. With a new engine, it would be good as new.
Clean title in hand.
Asking $1,000 OBO.
