1969 Morris Classic Mini 1000

KSL didn't have an option for Morris mini, so I selected Austin. Classic mini.

Mini 1000 built as a Cooper track day car.

Car has a ton of upgrades, it was a track day car.

1275 bored over to 1293

Kent 256 cam

Belt drive, no timing chain

Super radiator

Superfin rear drums

Mini Sport disc front brakes

Adjustable rear arms

Roll cage

HIF 44 carb

LCB exhaust

Sound deadening on floorboard/bulkhead

Fog lamps (needs rewiring)

Final drive changed to 3.95 for American roads. I'm sure I still have the old one if you want a higher rpm final.

Could use a tune for the altitude, I drove this every day on the East coast, but after moving to Utah, never adjusted for the thinner air.

Comes with:

Spare 1098 block/head, these make killer turbo motors.

Heritage boot lid (trunk lid), current was damaged in a parking lot, never replaced.

All the spare parts I've got, I will no longer need them.

I really hate to sell, but tastes and times change, and I just don't drive it anymore. I know someone else will be able to enjoy it and care for it, I can't justify owning it right now. My wife and I met in this car, and I'm the only US owner. I imported it directly from England more than 10 years ago. I have a ton of memories in this car, life changes, moves, and just a lot of love for this this little British lady. Who ever cares for it, please love her as much as I do!
