I pulled this truck out of a field after it had been sitting for 15 years. I fixed up the engine a bit and got it running. Changed all the filters and oil including drained out all the old diesel. It is a turbocharged Cat 3208 engine, not after cooled. The sticker on the engine has it listed at 250hp. It has an Allison MT653 transmission with a low gear instead of an overdrive. There is a pto mounted, the truck used to have a dump body on it. Front axle is 12,000lbs and rear is 21,000 with a 5.39 ratio.

Engine has great compression and starts up immediately every time, even in the cold.

The truck does run and drive but I would not say it is road worthy. The story I was told was that it was used on a farm and it tipped over while dumping a load of dirt. The cab is leaning to the driver side and the frame does have a bit of a twist as a result of the incident. It does have a pretty serious air leak. It holds enough to release the park brake but I wouldn’t drive far, if at all, with it. I do have the title in hand.
