2018 Subaru Outback - 3.6R Limited
Good mountain car. Driven mostly on highway but some commute and gravel road miles too. Mileage will go up as it is driven weekly at least.
Running, driving, no warning lights other than TPMS (snow tires just put on). Struts just replaced and alignment done (unfortunately, this seems to have done something to the knock sensor which intermittently doesn’t work). Seeping a bit of oil (like many of this generation 3.6 engine). Will likely need brakes soon. CVs replaced a couple years ago but may need some love again. This car has nearly 150,000 miles and isn’t new by any means.
This is our current backup adventure vehicle and also occasional commute vehicle, so a mix of about 95% pavement, 5% easy dirt Forest Service roads.
Interior
Limited trim, with heated leather seats and heated mirrors, power front seat, and other features
All-weather mats
Cargo area rubber / plastic protector
Premium sound system (head unit can be a bit touchy in extreme heat)
Exterior
Already has Cottonwoods sticker. Likely 2 seasons left on snow tires depending on how you drive.
A few scratches
Roof racks built in
Viewable in Millcreek.
Trade possibilities (balanced with cash on either end as needed) include:
Scamp or Casita or Airstream Bambi trailer ~19’ or under, or Scout camper
2013 or later automatic Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser, or 4runner 4x4
Lexus LX or GX of similar vintage
Recent vintage Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Colorado, F150 / 250, Ram or Silverado or Sierra 2500 / 3500 4x4
Medium 29er Full Suspension mountain or fat bike, newer, prefer 1x10, 1x11 or 1x12 drivetrain, Shimano or Sram is ok. (Specialized, Santa Cruz, Salsa, Trek or similar preferred). Steel or Alu preferred, Carbon maybe.
