Selling our 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT with the 4.7L V8 auto transmission 4WD. I bought this truck from my neighbor to facilitate a series of projects I was working on at home. In 2.5 years I've only put on about 10,000 miles. Majority of my use for it has been Home Depot trips, runs to the dump, and a towing.

I'm selling it now because we're looking to down size a bit, and I only drive it once every couple months.

Visually, the trucks exterior is poor. It's a work truck, not a show truck. However, no panels are rusted through, just surface rust, peeling clear coat, and some scratches. The interior is in great shape. No cracks in the dash, upolstry is in great condition.

Mechanically, this truck is in great working order. Engine starts easily and sounds great throughout the rev range. Transmission can sometimes shift a little hard when it's cold but once warmed up the shifts are fine. 4WD works fine.

The entire air conditioning system, HVAC blower, and heater core were replaced about 2-3 years ago. HVAC works wonderfully now.

The truck has a remote start system that works with both of the original key fobs, great for warming up during winter.

The truck also comes with the headache rack behind the rear window.
