This was my daily driver until I purchased another vehicle in April. I’m just finally getting around to posting it.
177,500 miles. All major components work great. It’s got brand new rear drum brakes. It started to struggle to start a little over a year ago. I replaced the battery and the alternator tested fine, so I replaced the starter with certified rebuilt starter and haven’t had issues since. Tires are rated for 60k miles and have about 45k left.
It’s a rebuilt/reconstructed title. The damaged was on the passenger side from two owners before me. I’m not sure when that happened, but it’s been driven for at least 75k miles since then. I’ve got a Bluetooth scan tool and I’ve included screenshots of that to show that there are no major codes. The last two images show the only two codes it’s throwing. The tires pressure sensors are likely faulty—all four tires are currently at 32-35psi.
Major defects:
Front passenger door only opens with a specific trick from the inside. Roof slightly leaks on passenger side and has caused the ceiling to come down a bit. Suspension is completely worn out, but that can technically be ignored. Paint and clear coat are struggling to say the least.
Other minor issues:
The key battery died a long time ago. I’ve tried to replace it but I can’t get the screw out and open it. One of the radio preset buttons works 50% of the time. The cruise control button doesn’t stay pressed in, so I’ve jammed a small penny in there to fix it. The segmented display for the speedometer has some lights that occasionally won’t light up. There’s a small external plastic trim piece near the bottom of the windshield that’s a bit deformed—part of it has broken off. There’s some rust on the right fender and on some areas of the hood and roof. The main plastic cover under the front of the car is missing.
Feel free to reach out if you’re interested or if you have questions about it.
