This jeep was our daily car for 5 or more years and we loved it. It had small problems like the front windows are no longer on their tracks. The back driver side window has a mind of its own and goes down by itself sometimes. Nothing serious at the time. We had a problem in the back passenger seat when traveling with a battery it spilled the carpet was damaged in a square directly behind the passenger seat. We went on vacation and a bad storm hit. When we came back to it not turning over. After looking into it the vehicle locked itself into antitheft mode so we addressed that on the computer. After it started to try to turn over again we kept having problems so we changed the CAM sensor, Crank position sensor, Fuel filter, Coil pack, Spark plugs, we checked the relays got a new battery and terminals. It was still not running. We had a mechanic come out and look at it and he said the ignition pack was not fully plugged in. After it was plugged in it turned over. As soon as it ran we could tell the gas was bad. We then added a cleaner and tried to run it off. We could tell that it wasn’t clearing up so, we then dropped the tank. Drained the gas, changed the fuel pump added a fuel system cleaner and put new gas and ran it for awhile it continued to have problems with running rough and dying. So we cleaned the throttle body and changed the air filter. It then ran for a month or so bring us to the present. It dies almost immediately when trying to drive it and if it does manage to drive it does not seem to be getting enough fuel. We do not want to keep trying to repair it. We do not know what is wrong with it now or how serious it will be we just are to a point of letting it go. It has a lot of money in new parts.
