New Arrival---Very Rare---This 1964 Shelby 289 FIA Cobra roadster is number 41 of 50 units produced by Shelby American to celebrate the introduction of the original FIA-sanctioned Cobra 289 in 1964. It is powered by a period correct 289 Cubic Inch Ford V8 engine featuring a Jim Inglese Weber 8-Stack carburetor system. The drivetrain features a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. All 50th Anniversary FIA Cobras were identical, except for the owner's choice of team stripe color. This pristine example features a white team stripe and Arctic White FIA roundels. All cars came with a unique Shelby issued CSX serial number, a Shelby American issued MSO, and a place in the registry as a Cobra 289 FIA 50th Anniversary Edition. This 50th Anniversary FIA Cobra is in pristine condition and currently shows 43 miles on the odometer. Purchase includes two sets of master keys, original car cover, “50th Anniversary” floor mats and the Shelby CSX7990 “41 of 50” Dash Plaque.
