2012 Tacoma long bed 4 door. Spruce mica color with pop top camper.
I am open to offers for the truck and camper as separate items.
Please message for more info or photos.
The Truck:
224k on the odo. The famous 4.0 liter v6. With a crew cab, long bed. They only made this color for a couple years and is very hard to find.
Very well maintained and taken care of. I am the Second owner, the first owner used this for a commuter and never used it as a truck or took it off road for the first 140k miles. It has taken us to many amazing and remote places and has never once had an issue or left us stranded. I would drive this thing anywhere right now without any concerns.
It is 14 years old, and has some cosmetic blemishes to show the adventures it’s seen, but is still a beautiful Tacoma that still turns heads.
It is a solid, reliable pickup that will take you nearly anywhere for a long time to come. The Heater works amazing as well as the AC. The AC components were recently replaced and recharged. 4WD works like new.
Upgrades:
Canadian model Tacoma. Came with engine block heater plug in for cold winters.
Compustar remote start and alarm system. (Needs new key fob)
New AT tires
Seat covers have been on for the trucks whole life
Tow reciever hitch and trailer plug on rear bumper
Bilstein 5100 shocks all around with upgraded front coils.
add a leaf on rear leaf springs
ARB air bags with Daystar cradles on rear leafs
Diode dynamics off road amber fog lights
Upgraded radio/ control screen with Bluetooth
Hidden Kill switch
Added switch for Limited slip differentialin 4 low
Maintenance :
this truck has not needed much extra maintenance and has had zero mechanical problems.
Replaced serpentine belt and spark plugs at 200k
Regular oil changes and filter with very oil change.
Differentials and transfer case oil has been changed every 30-50k miles.
AC compressor, fan and hoses replaced last summer
Will need new battery soon. It has not been used consistently recently and the battery will drain in a couple weeks of sitting . If it’s used every day it still does fine.
Camper :
1990s model roaming chariot pop top camper
this is a comfortable, small, light pop top camper. I have spent hundreds of nights in this rig over the last handful of years. It has been set up for year round camping in the mountains and adventure travel. It is not in great shape but will continue to be a cozy home for a while longer and with some updates and repairs it would be a great camper for a long time.
It weighs around 800lbs dry, and empty.
Set up with 200 watts of solar power connected to a 100ah house battery
Electric diesel heater with thermostat and timer that will keep you comfortable and warm on winter trips. I have used this and relied on it in up to -30F for multi night ski trips.
Max air ceiling fan
Window fan with timer for comfort on summer days and nights
The pop top canvas was pvc weather proof when it was made but it shows its age and has some holes.
I have set this up to use it with the top down a majority of the time. You can cook, sleep, and hang out without needing to pop the top.
The camper has some old wood components that should be replaced in the near future.
This is not in any way a luxury high end camper and I have priced the combo accordingly. This is a great option for a lightweight home out of the elements on trips year round.
The camper has been on the truck for a few years as I use it often. It does come with jacks to remove it but is a pain to get on and off often.
This truck has been a great rig for us. But we are looking at some other vehicle options for our family now. It will be sad to see it go but I’ll be stoked to see it going on more adventures.
