This LX470 has been a reliable and well-maintained vehicle throughout my five years of ownership. I purchased it with 189,000 miles and have consistently addressed maintenance as needed, with no deferred work. While it shows normal cosmetic wear for its age—including minor clear coat loss on the rear bumper and light scuffs—it remains mechanically solid and dependable.
This vehicle has been used for frequent long-distance travel, including trips to Las Vegas, western Washington, the Oregon Coast, and throughout Idaho, and it has never left me stranded. It has been maintained to be driven, not parked.
The AHC suspension functions properly, though the passenger side height sensor could benefit from adjustment. Tires are Toyo Open Country AT3s, with approximately 10,000 miles on the rear set and strong tread remaining on the fronts. Tires are rotated every 7,500 miles in conjunction with full synthetic oil changes using a larger Mobil 1 oil filter. I also maintain a handwritten log of all oil changes and routine service.
Recent Maintenance Highlights (during my ownership):
4/16/25: Rear brake replacement – $1,066.63
3/28/25: Two new Toyo Open Country AT3 tires and wheel alignment – $800.33
12/14/24: Replaced OEM air filter housing with newer OEM unit – $107.25
10/03/23: Major service including timing belt, water pump, idlers, tensioner, fan clutch, fan pulley bracket, drive belts, bypass hose, trailer harness, EVAP canister, purge and vent valves – $4,207.96
2/21/23: Rack and pinion, left front CV axle, right front wheel bearing – $3,323.90
7/30/21: Front lower ball joints and timing belt kit – $3,188.95
5/26/21: Front right CV axle – $468.37
5/8/21: Brake flush service – $209.46
4/14/21: Thermostat and gasket replacement; ride height sensors adjusted – $688.27
Total documented maintenance during my ownership exceeds $14,000, not including:
Recently replaced windshield
Driver-side headlight assembly with genuine Lexus OEM glass projector housing
New spark plugs within the last 15,000 miles
These additional items add approximately $1,000 in recent upkeep.
I am selling only because I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Sequoia and no longer need this vehicle. Finding an LX470 with this level of documented maintenance is increasingly rare, as many are passed along with deferred issues. This one has been properly cared for and is ready for its next owner.
