2005 Honda Accord EX – Needs TLC | Great Starter car, Project, or Fixer

Selling my 2005 Honda Accord EX. This car has been amazing to me and I’m genuinely sad to see her go, but I’m ready to move on after a bad experience with a repair shop.

The good:

• Very fuel efficient
• Engine runs strong
• Heat works AMAZING (seriously kicks ass)
• Battery is new (2024)
• Both rear tires new (June)
• Front tires from December 2024
• Reliable Honda that has plenty of life left with the right care

• Two Keys

• built in Anti-theft (will not start without the key)

What it needs/ honesty section:

• A/C does NOT blow cold
• Needs some love and TLC
• Bad front right lower control arm bushing
• Needs tire rods and an alignment
• Brake issue: I recently had the brakes done and the shop messed something up, causing the calipers to leak brake fluid. They are refusing to fix it.
• Leak is slow, but the car is being sold tow-only unless the buyer brings brake fluid and understands the risk.
• Spare tire is blown and I didn’t have time to replace it
• Was involved in a collision in 2023 (side impact into a pole, from what I was told). Hood was replaced and the bumper has damage.

• Bad O2 sensor

This would be a great option for someone who can work on cars, wants a project, or is looking for a reliable Honda to fix up and keep. It’s been a great car and I hate letting it go, but I want it to go to someone who can give it the care it deserves.
