Very clean Land Rover discovery 2. I got this after being told it just needed head gaskets. I did the head gaskets but it still overheats so there’s a possibility of a crack in the block and I don’t have the time or resources right now to take it apart again. It runs and drives, but overheats after about 20 minutes of idling. Definitely the cleanest body and interior I’ve seen on a discovery II after shopping for one for a long time.

Good:

New head gaskets

New valve cover gaskets

New valley pan gasket

New battery

New coolant hoses

New coolant overflow lines

New coolant expansion tank

New radiator

New thermostat

New thermostat housing

New spark plugs

New wires

New exhaust manifold gaskets

Extremely clean interior and body

It’s a 2004 so it came from the factory with the center differential lock

The rest of the drivetrain except for the engine are in good shape.

Bad:

Possible crack in the block - overheats

Leaks oil from rear main seal

Headliner sagging

Tires aren’t incredible
