2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Blue - $6,500
55–58 MPG | Title in Hand | Second Owner | Clean Title (In Hand)
.
I am selling our 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Blue. We are the second owners (purchased at 80k miles) and used it as a reliable commuter between American Fork and SLC. We’ve moved to local work and no longer need three vehicles. This is the "Blue" trim, which is the most fuel-efficient model Hyundai makes.
.
The Highlights
Mechanical: Excellent running condition. Followed a normal maintenance schedule with regular oil changes. It has never needed major repair work—these cars are known to easily surpass 300k miles with basic care.
Interior: Perfect condition. No rips, stains, or smells. It has been meticulously kept.
Efficiency: Consistently averages 55–58 MPG. The hybrid system is healthy and delivers amazing range.
Title: Clean title in hand for a fast, easy transaction.
Smart Hybrid Battery Technology
The 2019 Ioniq features one of the most advanced battery systems on the road—an Integrated Lithium-Ion Smart Battery. Unlike traditional hybrids that use a separate 12V lead-acid battery (which can easily die and leave you stranded), this car manages its own power for maximum longevity:
Self-Preservation Mode: If the car is left sitting for more than 3 days, it intelligently disconnects the internal 12V power. This prevents the slow "phantom drain" that kills other hybrid batteries, protecting it from degradation in Utah's 30°F winters or 105°F summers.
The "Reset" Safety Net: If you ever return to a "dead" car, Hyundai built in a simple way to get moving without needing a jump start from another vehicle:
Manual Entry: Use the mechanical key hidden inside your fob to unlock the driver's door manually (behind the small plastic cap on the handle).
Dashboard Reset: Once inside, simply press the "12V BATT RESET" button to the left of the steering wheel. This "wakes up" the system using the large hybrid battery.
Start & Go: You have 15 seconds to push the start button and drive away. No jumper cables or help from neighbors required.
Better-than-Prius Reliability: This integrated setup is incredibly robust. It is very uncommon for these models to have battery issues—the tech is much more advanced and reliable than traditional systems.
Condition Note:
Pricing this at $6,500 cash (well below KBB/Carfax) to account for cosmetic imperfections:
Front Driver Side: Small dent on the fender and a minor split on the lower bumper edge.
Rear Bumper: Small crack in the plastic rear grill insert.
Exterior: Minor scratches and paint imperfections typical for 136,719 miles.
Wheel Cover that cracked.
