The GM 8.1L motor is known for its longevity and ease of maintenance. GM offered the 8.1 liter motor as an upgrade in its 2500HD pickups, and it was a fairly uncommon upgrade option in the 2500 Suburbans from 2001-2006. If you want to tow big trailers with an SUV this is the way to go. I like them so much I’ve owned several of them over the years. Feel free to ask any questions.

We’ve owned this Suburban for over 10 years and have loved its versatility. From towing trailers, hauling groceries, or enjoying road trips it never disappoints.

In the time I’ve owned it its had lots of upkeep and maintenance and I have all the records to pass along to a new owner if wanted. Low miles on new water pump and new fuel pump. Newer harmonic balancer & serpentine belt.
