2023 Elantra SEL Base Standard Features

The SEL trim itself includes a bunch of standard equipment before any packages, such as:

• 16-inch alloy wheels
• Hands-free smart trunk release
• Bluelink® Connected Car System
• Proximity Key with Push-Button Start
• Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and other Hyundai SmartSense safety tech
• 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Bluetooth hands-free phone system

(*Note: the SEL gets a larger digital cluster and touchscreen only on Convenience Package)

This was the only official option package for the SEL trim in 2023 and it typically includes upgrades like:

• 17-inch alloy wheels (up from 16″)
• 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster & 10.25-inch touchscreen (up from 8″ on base SEL)
• Dynamic Voice Recognition
• Enhanced Forward Collision-Avoidance systems

🧾 What Isn’t Available

Because the SEL Premium package was discontinued for 2023, the following are not official options on the 2023 SEL:

• Leather or simulated-leather trimmed seats
• Adaptive cruise control (usually reserved for higher trims)
• Rear parking sensors
• Bose premium audio standard
• Other features normally found on the Limited trim

These live on the Limited trim level instead.
