1950 Studebaker 2R10-22 Pickup Truck.
We used this non-running truck as a prop on a TV cake baking contest for several years. Now we are done filming and will be happy to see this cool old truck go to someone who can resurrect it.
I don’t know anything about its mechanical condition. It had the patina that we were looking for on the show and we didn't need it to run. The body is rusty and dented, as can be seen in the photos. Obviously the mileage is much higher than the odometer shows. It was a farm truck so the odometer may have only turned over once. We put new tires on it just to be able to roll it on and off the film set. There is no tailgate.
The 6 cyl flathead engine looks complete and original, even retaining the original air cleaner, etc.but the radiator is missing. I have not tried to turn it over. The interior is also rough. The seat springs are there but no upholstery. The instrument panel and dash look restorable, with most knobs still in place. All the glass is missing.
It's being sold on a Bill of Sale. There is no title, but I have the Bill of Sale from the person who sold it to me. Its last registration and its history are unknown. It came out of a farm field in Oakley, Utah.
