1990 Ford Bronco 5.0 with 5 spd. manual transmission. I've owned this car for approximately 10 years. I've taken very good care of it, and I have a clean CO title. It is in very good mechanical condition, with a lot of recent work done to it. I just finished a 100 mile trip including interstate driving with the car, and it performed fine.
Here is a list of work done less than 350 miles ago:
Complete engine overhaul of 5.0 motor (from a donor 1992 Bronco) with a smooth idle roller cam (Melling 24110)
and a Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 electronic fuel injection system with all new fuel lines and fuel pressure regulator (Edelbrock system was actually installed 2 years ago and ran fine on the original engine.
New complete exhaust system
New clutch master/slave cylinders and hydraulic line
New front coil springs
New rear leaf springs
New front/rear shocks
New front/rear sway bar bushings and end links
New body bushings
New front brakes
New battery
New alternator
New vinyl carpet
This car has been designed to function as a camping/fishing/hunting vehicle if desired, with removable 3rd row seats in the rear to make room for a bed frame. I did a complete re-wiring of the rear window to allow it to operate from the outside using the key, or from the inside using a switch if camping.
Custom heavy duty rear bumper with swing out arm that functions as a table when camping.
Ironman 4x4 removable tarp with optional tent and/or screen room.
A/C and heat both work
No frame rust, and minimal body rust (primarily located at the bottom of the tailgate).
Asking $12,500 OBO
I also have some spare parts from the donor 92 Bronco that I can include for a full price offer:
Spare manual 5spd (M5OD) transmission
Spare transfer case Borg Warner 1356
Spare complete tailgate with glass
Other small random parts too
Known problems:
Clear coat is coming off (especially on hood and roof)
Slight power steering fluid leak at gear box
Slight freon leak (usually requires a recharge each Spring)
Small crack in windshield on passenger side
Two fairly minor dents in body
Parking brake indicator light on dash periodically illuminates because the pedal sags even when the brake is fully disengaged
Glenwood Springs, CO
Location is approximate
