2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
I’ve owned this Jeep for about 10 years. Started out as a Texas Jeep and I purchased it in Phoenix, AZ. Little to no frame rust.
Since I’ve owned it i have done/installed the following:
-4 inch rough country lift
-35 inch tires
-Dana 44 front axle
-4.89 gears
-Speedometer gear to accommodate 4.89 gearing
-Eaton front and rear lockers
-Chromoly axle shafts
-Slip yoke eliminator kit
-Black Magic 16” front brakes
-Oversized master cylinder
-SwayLoc two stage front torsion bar
-Off-road bumper and step bars
-Wrangler Fix replacement ECU
-Recently replaced front knuckle ball joints
-Bikini top under the hard top for a bit of shade on those sunny days.
I have a winch, new (in box) PSC steering box, and YJ steering shaft that is included.
The Jeep does have the intermittent P0344 cam shaft position code common with the ‘05 and ‘06 models. When it’s active, the ECU cuts fuel at 2500 rpm, causing a shudder. Once warm, the code can be cleared and drives normally.
I’ve put about 15K miles on it, so I don’t drive it often. I will have a new driver in the family soon, so would like to free-up the garage space and see this Jeep go to a new, good home.
Great trail Jeep. A lot of fun. Turns heads when out on the road.
