$7,500
Mileage: 120,500
We are the second owners of this Flex, we purchased it Ford CPO at about 33K miles and have owned it for ten years. The car is owned outright, title in hand. The mileage is low for the age (120,500). This is the Ecoboost equipped model with the 3.5 liter twin turbo V6 and AWD. This is limited trim level with the titanium appearance package. Pricing is based on condition, trim level and mileage.
The important parts (good and bad).
The good: Everything works. No warning lights or error codes. All the windows, cruise control, air conditioning, remote start, heated seats. No leaks, no accident history, no funky smells or questionable stains, two keys are included etc. Tires are in good shape. It has been garaged and is very clean underneath! It is a top level trim with a lot of nice features! I replaced the windshield with a brand new acoustic window in preparation for the sale at a cost of $560, the warranty is transferrable on the windshield.
The less than good: This was the family car and my wife got caught in a freak hail storm some 7 years ago while at a store once. There is hail damage present and in a lot of places. They are less noticeable when the car is clean. Insurance wanted to bondo and fill all the dents and repaint the entire car. I declined and chose to keep the paint all original. It has battle wounds of ten years of faithful family service but it wears all the original paint and body panels and bumpers. Wheels have curb rash. The interior is good, again no funky smells, no tears in the leather. It has the full panoramic glass roof. Captains chairs in the center row are heated and it has a pass through for the rear seats. The plastic cover under the engine is gone, lost during a snow storm in years past.
This is very much A Car and it has a name (Felicia). It is not offensive and probably not the car you dream about. It has polarizing looks (you love or hate the slab sides). It is not boring to look at. It will haul the family and haul butt. It is hilariously fast. The Ecoboost is no joke. It has been dead nuts reliable. This is the car you get when you “don’t want a minivan” and not a huge gas guzzling SUV. This is the compromise. It is easy to get in and out of. It holds car seats but you can still access the rear row. It has a decent amount of cargo space.
The car is located in Bluffdale and ready to show. I am happy to accommodate a pre-purchase inspection at the buyers expense. If the ad is up then the car is still in my possession. In an effort to avoid spam calls I will keep to messages through KSL as my point of initial contact and we can go through text messages after that.
