Everything runs amazingly, shifts smooth in all the gears but if youre on the gas it jolts you from 1st-2nd. Very low Mileage for the year, rides pretty smoothly but a bit bumpy, its also a 97 and thats how most vehicles were. 4 wheel drive works perfectly but it does need new locking hubs which are pretty cheap, the under side has a bit of rust from the previous owners from sitting up in Idaho snow and rain for awhile but I had someone check it and none of it rusts all the way through and theres no weak spots. I also have a shell for it that would come with it and I have side steps for it but I took them off, the step part is fine but the metal support isnt just because I had to grind it off because it was rusted to the frame. The transmission linkage could be adjusted a little bit but it works for me, you just have to slam it into park for it to stay in park otherwise you have to out it in neutral to start it, starts right up. I oove this truck so much but I think its time for qn upgrade just because I have a couple dirt bikes and friends with dirt bikes and they dont have any trucks, I also need something a little more powerful for the family trips we go on, I would also trade for a 1999-2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L v8.
