Engine:

Professionally rebuilt D16Y7 1.6L 4-cylinder SOHC engine installed at 184,000 miles (only has 20k miles). New Gates belt, tensioner, water pump, and seals. Oil changes every 3-4k miles with Mobil 1 extended performance synthetic oil and WixXP premium filters. Regular air filter changes and a meticulously cleaned throttle body. New spark plugs and ignition coils. Can accelerate hard.

Transmission:

Flushed in 2021; Halfway drain-and-filled filled in 2024 per the manual. Shifts well.

Steering:

Rack-and-pinion (with tie rod ends) installed in 2022 and PS fluid flushed. Shop alignment

Cooling:

New radiator in 2018 with coolant flush in 2023

Downsides:

The transmission is leaking fluid very slowly from CV axe. It leaves 1-2 drops each time you park and the fluid level goes down very slowly. The clearcoat on the trunk top and some of the hood has worn away.
