I am the original owner of this truck (see attached Carfax record in video) I bought this 2008 Silverado new. it needs a bath but I wanted to go ahead and post this. I will post more and better photos when I get back into town.
Truck has a pro comp 6" lift kit professional instal by 4 Wheel Parts Wholesale, El Paso TX
35x22.50r17 Yokahama tires and procomp wheels
12,000 lb winch
full size spare tire
the differentials have been re-geared to 4.56, G2 gears a long time ago. it has a limited slip rear end.
it has a custom built headache rack, which I may put on my new truck.
it has dual steering stabilizers
custom front skid plate
cold air intake system
superchip programmer which calibrated the MPH, tire size etc.
Within the last 2 to 3 years the following has been replaced or upgraded:
control arms (upgraded to Moog)
CV axles
ball joints
wheel bearings (Moog)
tie rod ends (Moog)
brake rotors and pads
transmission serviced at dealership
transfer case serviced
last year:
power steering flush
radiator flush and new hoses and thermostat
differential oil changed
this has been an excellent truck, never broke down once, it has no leaks, and uses not a drop of oil.
blemishes:
outside there is a dent and scratch on passenger rocker panel
paint is scratched from tree limbs here and there
drivers door lock gets slow or stuck and must be manually moved on occasion
when I had the differential gears changed, that began tripping the ABS light at 60 mph, but it's always done that and nothing is wrong, just annoying.
I have a whistle sound on occasion at about 1800 rpm, under the hood near the intake, like a cracked intake hose.
not quite 90k original miles
this truck is in excellent mechanical condition and throws no codes and the check engine light is not on. it's never left me stranded, never been wrecked.
Zero body rust. truck spent most of its life in southern New Mexico where there is no road salt
I am only selling it because I have two bigger kids now and need a crew cab. it's a great truck and I hate to see it go to be honest. Very capable and reliable truck off road and daily driver.
